Dear Sensualist,
I have a question for you.
Have you ever been so deeply nourished by a scent, a texture, or a ritual… that you no longer longed for anything (or anyone) else?
It happened to me last night, with something as simple as a body buffer. An infused sponge, to be precise.
And yes, you’ll come to see that I often find poetry in the smallest details of my day.
But my hope is that you, too, begin to notice how these seemingly ordinary moments can add up to something extraordinary, how they nourish you in ways no meal or lover ever could.
At first, the sponge was dry. Coarse. A little too abrasive. The first few strokes against my skin were sharp, almost offensive—and I instinctively wanted to toss it in the bin before the water had even warmed.
But I gave it a few more seconds. A little more attention.
And it responded.
Almost instantly, soft, creamy foam began to rise between its delicate, petal-like folds. The sponge softened. My fingers curled more gently around it. And then, I began to glide it over my skin.
What followed was pure bliss: it exfoliated gently—just enough—while leaving behind a trail of perfumed lather and a lingering sensation that felt like being held.
In mere seconds, I went from indifference, to rejection, to feeling as though a lover had touched me—but better. Because it came from my own hands, my own care, my own intention.
I can officially say: this body buffer left me feeling full. And yes, I’ll be using it again tonight.

My guess? My skin had been craving softness. Creaminess. Something to hold me.
So I ask you now:
What does your skin crave today?
Take this question with you as you move through the day. Let it guide your rituals.
Wishing you a beautiful day ahead.
I’ll meet you again tomorrow.
With all my love, always,
Sabrina
