Dear Sensualist,

Have you ever paused to ask yourself: where does your femininity bloom without needing to be explained?

I was recently reading reviews on a lingerie website, scanning for fit and comfort notes about a bra I was thinking of ordering. One comment caught my eye: a woman mentioned feeling uncomfortable in the low-support style, writing that it made her breasts “jiggle” when she walked outside.

Something about that word stayed with me.

It reminded me how something as natural, as inherently feminine as movement, softness, or sensuality, often doesn’t feel safe unless it’s hidden behind closed doors.

I must admit, it took me years to feel comfortable wearing a barely-there bra in public without that flicker of self-consciousness, that fear of being watched rather than simply seen.

But as with everything related to feminine embodiment, the path back to confidence and comfort is often subtle and... slow.

For me, it began quietly, at home. Letting myself wander around in a sheer robe after a shower. Leaving the bra in a drawer. Walking slowly, naked, through my apartment on quiet evenings when I was alone. Letting my body exist without editing, hiding, or bracing.

That’s where it started; not to be provocative, not to be brave. But to be home, in my own skin.

Of course, I’m not suggesting that embracing this softness means parading through the streets unclothed. But I do believe that confidence builds where we first feel safe. And sometimes, the courage to feel beautiful in public begins in the sanctuary of the private.

So let me ask you:

In what spaces do you let your feminine essence take up its fullest shape?

Let the question linger as you move through your day.

I’ll meet you again tomorrow.

With all my love,
Sabrina
